Transfers from terminal 5 are provided by the Hoppa between 5.04am and 11.34am every 20 to 30 minutes. Transfers from terminal 4 run from 4.53am till 11.23pm. Hoppa tickets are sold at the terminals and at the hotel. They cost £4 per adult and 50p per child one way. The prices and the schedule are subject to change.

Leave the M4 at junction 4. Follow the signs for terminals 1, 2 and 3 along the M4 airport access road. Turn left at the roundabout before the tunnel entrance onto the A4 Bath Road. The hotel is half a mile further along on the left.

There are two restaurants, two bars and a coffee lounge at the Marriott London Heathrow, so you really will be spoiled for choice. Tuscany Ristorante is an Italian restaurant with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare your meal. How about a starter of tomato, mozzarella and rocket salad, followed by gnocchi with grilled chicken breast in a creamy tomato and rosemary sauce, then warm chocolate pudding with melted white chocolate and vanilla ice cream to finish? Allie's American Grille serves American food for lunch and dinner, and a continental and English buffet for breakfast. Try Maryland crab cakes to start, followed by lemon-breaded chicken with rocket mash and caper butter, and finish with chocolate mousse with ginger shortbread. On top of the buffet, a variety of other dishes are available for breakfast, ranging from smoked haddock topped with a poached egg to waffles with fruit compote and ice cream. The Atrium Lounge is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves sandwiches, light bites, salads, burgers, desserts, drinks and cocktails.
