Your stay at the Crowne Plaza doesn't just have to be a bed for the night. Make the most of it and dine while your there too - you'll be glad you did. The Starways Restaurant has a 1930s setting offering an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner is served from 6pm to 10pm every evening. You can enjoy smoked duck salad, home cured salmon or a selection of warm breads to start. For your main meal, you could have slow cooked belly of pork, roast pollock or chilli penne pasta. Last but not least, choose from triple chocolate brownie, raspberry and vanilla panna cotta or classic English burnt cream. All dishes are subject to change.

The open-plan Club Central Lounge and Bar is on the ground floor of the hotel. Unwind and enjoy a few drinks, and grab some food from their bistro style menu if you're feeling peckish. You can order a home cooked maple glazed ham sandwich, 28 day matured steak ciabatta, soup, salads and some traditional favourites including the homemade spiced lamb burger and good old bangers and mash.
